I loved this book. Amy Briggs and Mikey Lee need to collaborate together again. There is nothing cold about the combination of these two authors. (less)

I loved this book because it's everything I want in a good romance drama. The story line of the arsonist is genius I thought. The plot is very well developed. The sex is steamy! The characters are likable but not too perfect. It's funny, it's sexy, it's intriguing. I seriously hope there are more books from this dynamic duo!
I absolutely loved it! The writing style makes it completely different from every other book on the market right now. And the storyline was brilliant! Seriously! It is that good! Scott and Dani were perfect together, I adored her funny wit and quick comebacks. And the suspense factor was through the roof, keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book! I loved it.
An exciting combination of Fire fighters and Detectives in this combination of characters from Amy Briggs's Brotherhood of District 23 Series and Mikey Lee's Sin Series (Envy books). A who done it with arson fires, dead bodys, along with sexy scenes. Dani Moore...sister of douche bag Detective Clayton Moore...meets Firefighter/Arson Investigator...sparks fly and things get hot.
I just love when two authors come together and make magic happen! That's exactly what Mikey Lee & Amy Briggs did with this. These two gave us a great story & you even see side characters from their own books. ❤️ Anyways, this is a awesome story of Scott Walker and Dani Moore. They just have some great chemistry together. It's great how Dani learns to love & trust again, after her history. And Scott even though he wasn't looking for a relationship, he finds himself wanting one with Dani and helping heal along the way. Awesome Read! & I hope These two write together again soon!
I really enjoyed the story and loved seeing some old characters from the author's other books. The story kept me interested right on through to the end. It had suspense and excitement and some VERY sexy times. Scott and Dani are a cute couple and I loved Clay and Dani's close relationship.
The only thing I didn't like, which is more a personal preference for me, was that I felt like there was too much in other characters heads and not enough in the three main characters. There was pov jumping a few times during conversations.
I still enjoyed this and look forward to reading more.
Amy Briggs and Mikey Lee just kicked butt!! I love how these two authors came together to give me a story with suspense, crime, fun and love. This story has a perfect combination of the arson division and the police department. Scott is the arson investigator and Clayton is a detective. They are teaming up to solve a case that had me thinking how the hell did that happen! Scott is also interested in learning more about Clayton's sister, Dani. They have an instant connection that's sexy and fun!
Alone, these authors are great. Together, they are incredible! They did not disappoint with Hot & Cold! Go read this book!
This was a fun read! I enjoyed meeting new characters snickering with some of my favorites from the firehouse. The story was interesting and well written.
I didn't know who the killer was at first, but as soon as the interview occurred I thought I knew who it was which kind of bummed me out since I like to be kept guessing until the end. The romance was sweet, but my favorite conversations were actually between the brother and Scott because of the care and love it showed between siblings and professional support to those who serve our communities.
I enjoyed this read and would love to see a story about Clayton!!
