A copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.I have read nearly all of Kristin Kula's books and as I have found out she has Asperger's and an urge to write, her stories seem extra vacant. But I have to say people they like something like that, will get a lot out of them.
In this story, "Gem", he is a young dog and loves to pay with a ball. but one day, the ball rolled on the street and a car hit him.
when he wakes up in the Vet, he found out that he lost his right leg.
He was devastated and thought, life came to an end.
But he didn't realized, that all his friends love him and want to help him, overcome this. But he fell into depression. Whatever his friend and his owners try to do, to help him, he just didn't let them. He was thinking of ending it all.
will he succeed? Find out.
